Rawalpindi:
The twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad and their adjoining areas
were hit by heavy rain with hailstorm on Thursday turning the weather
pleasant.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast another strong rain system to enter the country from May 17.
It is worth mentioning here that there was neither rain nor hailstorm in some localities of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Thursday.
Heavy rain and hailstorm also hit hilly areas, including Murree, Nathiagali, Haripur and Patriata creating difficulties for motorists on roads.
